Game Summary vs Windham East

The 13 year olds shook the cob webs off the bats tonight as they came out scoring early and often against Windham East. Cody Champagne, Aaron Duncanson, Michael Rioux-Pena, Keenen Lowe, and Paul Patriotti started off the game with 5 consecutive hits and scoring 4 runs without recording an out. The final score was 10-0 and was called in the 5th inning due to the 10 run-rule. Rioux-Pena tossed a strong 4 innings of work. He allowed just one hit while striking out 8. Duncanson came on in the 5th to shut down Windham East with a 1-2-3 inning. Offensively for Westbrook, Rioux-Pena, Lowe, and Patriotti each had 2 hits. Jack Gilligan had the big blow of the game when he hit a two out, three run triple down the right field line. The 13 year olds continue their tournament play Tuesday night against Scarborough at 5:30.
