2006 Playoff Game Commentaries
Wednesday, July 5th, 2006
COASTAL VS. MARTIN'S
It was another exciting night of baseball in Westbrook,
with THIS pair up!!
Starting pitcher for Coastal was Mark Divilinsky
and starting for Martin's was Chad Egeland. Coastal took
a quick lead, in the first inning 2-0.
Egeland was swapped out for Xavier Libby, on the mound,
near the end of the 1st. Xavier pitched 2nd & 3rd innings.
Divilinsky continued. Keegan Goan relieved Xavier, in the
4th. Score at the top of the 5th had crept to 9-4, Coastal.
Chad Egeland was brought in again, at the bottom of the
5th and Zach Collett relieved Divilinsky in the 6th. By
the end of the 6th, Martin's had rallied to a 9-7 margin
(thanks to some GREAT TEAMWORK from
Martin's) and in the 7th tied 'er up to 9-9, going into
overtime and pushing the remainder of the game to the following
day ~ Thursday, July 6th 4:30 p.m. @ Warren. Stay tuned
for the outcome!!!!"
